Disability Education and Etiquette

Breaking down misconceptions and raising awareness about people with disabilities

Purpose of the Course:

This education program will provide interactive and open dialogue for examining the misconceptions and stereotypes about people living with disabilities. It will show you how to omit apprehensions and awkward moments in social situations. Most people want to be sensitive and respectful, but may not know how. We will provide useful tools and strategies to raise your awareness about the largest minority group. In addition, your participation will help you develop skills needed to effectively communicate, interact and work with people with disabilities.

Classes are forming for the fall, so make your reservations TODAY.

You may fill out an application online, send an email to consultLN@cox.net, or call us at: 757.827.0783 to reserve your space.
